Tempus Fugit Liqueur de Violettes does not seek to impress through excess. Its charm lies precisely in its subtlety: the delicate scent of violets, its fine texture, and the way it discreetly transforms any cocktail into an elegant experience. Inspired by classic 19th-century French recipes and produced in small batches, it preserves the authenticity of a floral liqueur made with patience, without the heavy sweetness that usually covers natural flavors. The result is sophisticated, airy, and surprisingly modern.
With 22% alcohol, the profile remains delicate and balanced. It doesn't dominate the palate, but subtly envelops it with clean floral notes and a graceful finish.
The aroma of violets has a unique, almost cinematic elegance. It evokes images of peaceful gardens after rain, classic French perfumes, and an era when cocktails were savored slowly, with attention to every detail. In the hands of a bartender, it becomes an ingredient that adds finesse and personality without dominating. In your home bar, it's that rare bottle that transforms a simple cocktail into a truly special moment — sophisticated, memorable, and full of character.
What you'll experience in the glass:
- Nose: A pure floral bouquet of rare delicacy; fresh violets, morning dew, and a subtle hint of fine herbs.
- Taste: Fine and balanced; the sweetness is restrained, allowing the violet petals to express their floral complexity.
- Finish: Long, persistent, and surprisingly clean, like a blooming garden.
- Vibe: Nostalgic, precious, and fascinating; like a stroll on the French Riviera.
Why you'll love it:
- True floral finesse: An airy, clean aroma, without being excessively perfumed.
- Restrained sweetness: More elegant, less syrupy, easier to integrate into cocktails.
- Intense violet color: Instantly transforms the appearance and personality of a cocktail, especially in combinations with gin and citrus.
- Small batches: Great attention to detail and consistency.
- A modern classic: The key ingredient for Aviation, Blue Moon, and modern reinterpretations.
