Every bottle is packed individually. If one arrives broken, we replace it or refund you. What to do
There are times when a cocktail doesn't need strength, but a touch of light that binds the flavors together – and La Gauloise Jaune does exactly that. A reinterpretation of the classic French recipe, which preserves the brand's botanical DNA, but brings it in a fresher, more elegant and easier to drink form.
Based on alpine herbs and citrus, "Jaune" offers a rare aromatic clarity in the botanical liqueur category. With 40% alcohol, it has structure and presence, but remains more of a balancing element: it lifts the acidity of a Sour, adds depth to a Highball, and offers a silky texture to any classic recipe, without dominating the palate.
What do you feel in the glass?
- Nose: a fresh bouquet of mountain herbs, juicy lemon peel and a discreet floral hint.
- Taste: surprisingly clean; a mix of alpine plants and citrus oils, with a velvety finesse.
- Finish: smooth and tonic, with a floral, citrus echo and a fine, aristocratic bitterness that invites you to the next sip.
- Vibe: a centuries-old French tradition, served with a fresh and modern twist.
Why will you like it?
- More drinkable: bright profile, ideal for daytime cocktails or aperitifs.
- Perfect balance: alpine herbs are sweetened by citrus zest, not excessive sugar.
- Versatility in the bar: instantly elevates any Sour, Highball or Martini twist recipe.
- 40% alcohol: premium structure that ensures flavors are not lost in dilution.
- Golden alternative: a perfect substitute for Chartreuse, which is very difficult to obtain.
