Fernet Negroni Antica is an intense and complex fernet from the amaro category, inspired by an old recipe, built around mountain herbs, roots, and spices. These are slowly macerated in alcohol to fully extract their richness and aromatic power.
Its bitter profile is well-balanced and layered, with notes of cool mint, saffron, gentian, and a slight resinous hint, which adds depth. The taste remains clean yet intense, with a long and persistent evolution in the glass.
With 39% alcohol, it has a solid and well-defined structure. It is suitable as a digestif after a meal, but also as an ingredient in cocktails.
What you experience in the glass:
- Nose: bitter herbs, roots, mint, dried spices; an elegant botanical fragrance.
- Taste: intensely bitter, dry, and complex; mint and gentian in the forefront, followed by saffron and balsamic notes.
- Finish: long, refreshing, bitter, with botanical depth and a slight resinous echo.
- Vibe: the guilty pleasure of bartenders and true bitter lovers.
Why you'll love it:
- Layered aroma: it's not just bitter, it evolves from mint to saffron and myrrh.
- 39% alcohol: a solid structure that gives it the status of a true digestif.
- Slow maceration: guarantees an aromatic density that industrial processes cannot achieve.
- Key ingredient: an essential product for bartenders who focus on the Italian style.
