If you want a gin that doesn't compromise, Aqva Luce Navy Gin is the heavy artillery for your home bar. It's an authentic Navy Strength (57.5% ABV), inspired by a famous 17th-century tradition. In the British Navy, gin had to pass the gunpowder test. If gunpowder soaked in gin still ignited, it meant the distillate was at least 57° and had not been diluted with water. Aqva Luce preserves precisely this historical threshold and transforms it into a modern, intense, and extremely aromatic gin.
At 57.5%, the alcohol isn't just strength – it's a flavor amplifier. It highlights the balsamic notes of the alpine botanicals, gives volume to the juniper, and makes the herbaceous notes seem more precise. Distilled in two 100L copper stills, Aqva Luce Navy uses 12 botanicals, among which juniper, caraway, bay leaf, hops, and cumin stand out. The taste is surprisingly pleasant: despite its strength, it remains smooth and persistent, with a balance between aromatic herbs and a subtle, tonic bitterness.
What do you feel in the glass?

The gunpowder story: why does 57.5% matter?
Navy Strength is not a modern fad, but a standard of survival. In the British Navy, gin was stored next to gunpowder. If a bottle broke during battle, the gin had to be strong enough not to dampen the powder, allowing it to still ignite.
Today, for you, this standard means a gin that never gets lost in the mix. Even in the most complex cocktails, Aqva Luce Navy maintains its firm structure, offering denser, more aromatic drinks much closer to the experience of a professional bar.

Each bottle is individually protected and placed in special transport packaging, so it arrives intact to you. If a bottle still arrives broken, take photos of the parcel and the product and write to us at info@negostore.ro: we will replace it or refund you, at no cost to you.

Online card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash on delivery to the courier.
Can I return a product?
Yes. You have 14 calendar days from receipt to return a sealed and undamaged product, and we cover the return shipping. Opened alcoholic beverages cannot be returned. The steps are on the Returns page.

Yes. The sale and delivery of alcoholic beverages to persons under 18 years of age are prohibited. The courier may request identification upon delivery.
